Tampere is known throughout Finland for two things: Mustamakkara (Blood Sausage), and Theatre.

With over 10 professional and amateur theatre companies, and 5 improv teams, it was an easy choice for the Finland International Improv Festival!

Tampere, Finland’s 3rd largest city, is situated in Southwest Finland surrounded by trees, lakes, and… well, that’s pretty much it!

Tampere is easy to get to! You can fly into the Tampere airport, or take a train from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, which has a train to Tampere that goes directly from the terminal!

And if that wasn’t enough, downtown Helsinki is less than 2 hours away by train.
